With the development of social production,the type and quantity of metal equipment is increasing,while the corrosion of metal is becoming more and more serious,and it is an important factor that restricts the rapid development of economic and social health.The direct and indirect economic loss caused by metal corrosion is immeasurable.At the same time,the security hidden danger and the production accident are all the time.The metal corrosion must be controlled.This is not only the inevitable requirement of economic development,but also the basic guarantee of human society security.Therefore,it is of great significance to research and develop the efficient corrosion inhibitor in the actual production and life.In this paper,we study the performance of the schiff base in terms of preventing metal corrosion.Schiff base is a kind of feature groups containing imide group or methylene amine(RC = N-)of organic compounds.Because of schiff bases(especially some aromatic schiff base)contains the C = N double bond,has good coordination ability,can form complex with transition metal complexes.According to the structure and content of sex research found that contains rich electronic aromatic ring or larger electronegativity of atoms(such as N,O,S atoms)molecules that can provide a lone electron pair,can with carbon steel metal d orbitals form a protective film on the surface;Molecular amino central Asia(C = N)is a very good corrosion resistance,can isolate the metal and the corrosive medium,effectively inhibit corrosion,has good corrosion inhibition.This paper,by using aldehyde amine and 9 kinds of schiff base,synthesized espectively in hydrochloric acid,hydrofluoric acid and mud acid corrosion medium study its at room temperature for three kinds of carbon steel,aluminum,zinc metal corrosion performance,so as to screen out an effective corrosion performance of 6 kinds of schiff base.Again to the 6 kinds of schiff base corrosion inhibition for further in-depth study.By weight-loss method,determination of 3%hydrochloric acid medium to join the best concentration under the condition of the schiff base metal corrosion rate,and change the corrosion factors such as temperature,etching time and acid concentration of medium to explore the anti-interference of schiff base(resistance,acid resistance,resistance to temperature)performance.At the same time,the electrochemical study on the 6 kinds of schiff base,judgment of its type corrosion inhibitor,and corrosion mechanism are analyzed.Through the research,we find that in room temperature Schiff base 4 exhibits a very good corrosion inhibition performance.In 3%hydrochloric acid system the corrosion rate of carbon steel is only 0.1447 gm-2h-1;in room temperature Schiff base 3 in 3%hydrochloric acid system also has very good corrosion inhibition effect for aluminum,the corrosion rate of aluminum is only 0.3277 gm-2h-1.In the aspect of anti interference,the anti time interference ability of Schiff base 3 is very outstanding,under the condition of corrosion at room temperature for 5 hours the corrosion rate of aluminum in the 3%hydrochloric acid system is only 0.03280 gm-2 h-1;temperature resistance of Schiff base 4 is strong,under the condition of 60 ? the corrosion rate of aluminum in 3%hydrochloric acid solution reaction 4 hours is 0.2704 gm-2h-1;anti acid ability of Schiff base 4 is outstanding,in room temperature the corrosion rate of carbon steel in 5%hydrochloric acid solution is only 0.2912 gm-2h-1.Therefore,it can be predicted that the above Schiff base developed with good market prospects have good corrosion inhibition effect,and their application values are very considerable.
