In this paper,ZL105 alloy with the addition of La and Sr, respectively, to study their metamorphic effect, to discuss the effect of La, Sr of ZL105 alloy microstructure and mechanical properties, friction and wear properties of La, Sr ZL105 alloy was also discussed.Sr and La were added to ZL105 in the form of intermediate alloy, which Al-10 La intermediate alloy was prepared by ultrasonic method, and the mass ratio of aluminum and rare earth La was 9:1. Preparation of Al-10 Sr intermediate alloy from the research group.The grains in ZL105 alloy which had been modified by La were obviously refined. The ?-Al grain size significantly reduced; block plate and long needle like refinement of Si phase into the uniform distribution of short rod like and granular;long needle like or plate-like ?-Fe phase has been greatly improved, size has been shortened in different degree.When the amount of La is 0.6wt.%, the modification effect is the best. The addition of rare earth La can improve the mechanical properties of ZL105. When the amount of rare earth La was added to 0.6wt.%, the mechanical properties of the alloy was the best, and the mechanical properties of the alloy group with the addition of 0.6wt.%La was the best. Tensile strength of 243.36 MPa,elongation rate of 5.3%, Vivtorinox hardness reached 125.23 HV, compared with the non degenerate matrix, respectively, increased by 29.93%, 39.12%, 55.3%.The microstructure of ZL105 alloy after Sr metamorphism has different degrees of refinement.The ?-Al grain size significantly reduced; block plate and long needle like refinement of Si phase into the uniform distribution of short rod like and granular;long needle like or plate-like ?-Fe phase has been greatly improved, size has been shortened in different degree.When the amount of Sr is 0.04 wt.%, the modification effect is the best. The addition of Sr can improve the mechanical performance of ZL105. When Sr content for 0.04 wt.%, the mechanical performance of the alloy to best, the tensile strength 220.77 MPa, extension rate was 6.8%, Vickers hardness reached 116.67 HV, compared with no modification of the matrix, respectively, toenhance the 15.58%, 73.2%, 45.27%.Compared to the La modified alloy, the elongation of the Sr modified alloy is greater, the hardness is not as good as the La modified alloy.In this paper, the friction and wear experiments of La and ZL105 modified Sr alloy were carried out. The results show that the friction properties of ZL105 alloy after La and Sr have been improved.With the two modifiers were added, alloy friction coefficient and wear rate were increased first and then decrease, when La content0.6wt.% when the, friction and wear performance is the best, friction coefficient and wear rate than non metamorphic matrix reduced 35.3% and 36.8% respectively.When the amount of Sr was 0.04 wt.%, the friction and wear properties were the best, and the wear rate and friction coefficient decreased by 42.3% and 16.3% respectively compared with the Sr modified ZL105.The wear mechanism of ZL105 matrix is shown as abrasive wear and slight delamination wear.The wear mechanism of ZL105 alloy with La was shown as abrasive wear and adhesive wear.The wear mechanism of ZL105 alloy with Sr was shown as abrasive wear and adhesive wear with different degrees.
