Coal spontaneous combustion is a very serious natural disaster,it is one of the urgent problems of coal industry that how to prevent the coal self-ignition and improve the utilization of coal.To counter these problems,this paper studies a detection system which based on numerical simulation and experimental research.To achieve the measuring systems,this paper made the following studies.Firstly,understand the mechanism of coal spontaneous combustion,and put forward the thought that coal self-ignition can be prevented by detecting the changes of temperature and the carbon monoxide's concentration in.Then design the hardware and software of the system,it contents: power circuit,wireless transmission circuit,alarm circuit,temperature measurement circuit,gas concentration measurement circuit and other circuits,the PC receiver module.Finally,the actual running effect of the system designed in this paper was tested,including the detection of temperature and the carbon monoxide's concentration.Combining with the results of numerical simulation,the distribution of the measurement points are designed.Artificial methods create experimental conditions.Experimental results show that the system will have a good application.This detection system for coal self-heating is convenient to operate and debug,it can be applied to the monitoring of the coal storage in the open coal yard.The study of this paper has a positive impact for preventing the spontaneous combustion of coal.
