In order to analyze and identify the characteristic aroma components of the chrysanthemum essential oils, and to verify the identification results of the characteristic aroma components, in this paper, it used the identified characteristic aroma components to study the aroma simulations. Through using tobacco flavoring, it illustrated the reliability of the experimental results further. The main research contents included:base on the GC-MS/GC-0 combined with PCA/PLSR to analyze the chrysanthemum essential oils' characteristic aroma constituents; compare three kinds of typical chrysanthemum essential oils'characteristic aroma components and research the aroma restructuring and omission experiment; mix the chrysanthemum fragrance to applicate in cigarette flavoring research.First of all, analyze the chrysanthemum essential oil of different manufacturers for sensory evaluation, including floral, woody, grassy, fruity and sour. The experimental results showed that significant difference in chrysanthemum oil sensory attributes, the highest was floral, followed by woody, and finally the grassy, fruity and sour. Use GC-O and GC-MS analysis, it separated 38 kinds of chrysanthemum essential characteristic odor substances. Then use PLSR correlation analysis, result showed that characteristic compounds were cuparene, linalool, beta-myrcene, caryophyllene, beta-guaiene, delta-terpinene, camphene, alpha-terpinolene, germacrene B,4-isopropyltoluene, isoborneol, dihydro methyl jasmonate, alpha-phellandrene and eudesmol.Secondly, use aroma omission restructuring experiments to verify the contribution of aroma substances. By omission and restructuring experiments, the main contribution of substances were terpenes, followed by borneol and isoborneol, then the ester, finally were to 4-isopropyltoluene, thymol and carvacrol.Finally, use the chrysanthemum fragrance in cigarette to be coordinated, to improve the quality of flue gas and enhance aroma, reduce irritation and burning sensation, improve adsorption and improve the tobacco incense, to produce a kind of pure and fresh and special like nuances of cigarettes flavor. It would have the certain innovation in the cigarette flavouring and guiding significance.
