Principle of capillary electrophoresis is the use of small diameter and the capillary channel and the separation of substances with high voltage direct current field is the driving force.A technique for material separation based on the difference in migration velocity between different kinds of components or particles in the sample.So it has been widely used in analytical chemistry field because of its advantages such as high analysis speed,low consumption,high sensitivity,simple operation and so on.In recent years,in order to improve the detection capability of the sample,the capillary electrophoresis in fact begin joint operation methods,such as capillary electrophoresis/electrochemical luminescence?CE-ECL?,capillary electrophoresis/mass spectrometry?CE-MS?and capillary electrophoresis /ultraviolet spectrophotometry?CE-UV?,and so on,appear in combination with technology has greatly expanded the scope of use of capillary electrophoresis.These new combination methods greatly expand the application range of capillary electrophoresis and also significantly improve the detect ability of samples.In this paper,the detection of Hg2+ in water by modified capillary electrophoresis is discussed and the determination of 2-aminophenol p-bromophenol by capillary electrophoresis,respectively.The optimum determination conditions ofHg2+ and 2-aminophenol p-bromophenol,together with influence factors including types of buffer solutions,the value of pH,the separation voltage and so on.The second chapter describes the use of capillary electrophoresis on2-amino-phenol,p-bromophenol concentrations measured.In the experiment,the effects of different kinds of buffer solution,concentration of buffer solution,p H selection,capillary electrophoresis separation voltage and temperature were compared in detail,the best experimental conditions for determination of 2-amino phenol and phenol by capillary electrophoresis were determined.A novel capillary with high sensitivity and selectivity for mercury ion detection based on modified nanosize silica has been designed and synthesized.The obtained modified capillary was applied to separate and determine mercury ion by capillary electrophoresis with a laser-induced fluorescence detector.The optimal experimental conditions were determined by evaluating various controlling factors: running buffer hexamine-HCl 15mmol/L,pH=5.20,separation voltage 30 kV and temperature 25 °C.The modified capillary exhibited excellent sensitivity and selectivity for Hg2+ over other coexisting metal ions(K+,Ag+,Ca2+,Mg2+,Ba2+,Ni2+,Cd2+,Pb2+,Cu2+ and Zn2+)in aqueous solution,and was successfully applied to the determination of Hg2+ in natural water samplesand displayed satisfactory results.
