The properties of noble metal nanoparticles depend mainly on the structure,size and morphology.In this paper we have designed a gold nanoparticle with a supermolecule.Furthermore,we have studied their properties and applications in fluorescence sensing,self-assembly and cascade catalysis.This article has four chapters as the following:The first chapter is the introduction,the basic properties of the nanoparticles,especially the unique properties of gold nanoparticles,should be described.Also we should introduce their common synthesis methods and applications in different fields.Finally,the problems,potential applications and the idea of our work were put forward,respectively.In the second chapter,a new synthesis methods cyclodextrin modified gold nanoparticles was mainly studied.Also,characterization of supramolecular modified gold nanoparticles was studied.To be specific,we present an eco-friendly method for one-step fabrication of supramolecule functionalized AuNPs using cyclodextrin(CD)molecules as both stabilizers and reducing agents.In the third chapter,we studied the application of cyclodextrin@AuNPs.Because the Au NPs possess macrocyclic structures on the particle surface,they can be employed as scaffold and energy acceptor for fluorescent sensing.Furthermore,the CD@AuNPs are employed as building blocks for the construction of well-defined nano-superstructures: 1D/2D architectures are well obtained by simple modulation of mediator concentrations.In addition to conventional host-guest reaction based properties,the CD@AuNPs can achieve unique cascade catalysis.The CD@AuNPs possess unpredictable catalytic activity and exhibit mimicking properties of both glucose oxidase and horseradish peroxidase simultaneously.Especially,the cascade reaction are further catalyzed which is well achieved by using the AuNPs as the sole catalyst.The fourth chapter is the characteristics of the paper,innovation points,the summary of this work and prospective of this research.
