Generating atmospheric particles is the result of complex physical and chemical reactions.We define floating in the air of atmospheric particles by aerodynamic scale.According to aerodynamic scale can directly help us evaluate and determine the particulate matter's harm on human health and develop measures to control air pollution has important significance.This paper introduces the morphology of atmospheric particles and describes the single particle analysis of atmospheric particulate matter research methods.Firstly,we use a scanning electron microscope?SEM?to observe single particle's morphology and particle size and analyze species and sources of particulate matter.EDS gives the existent elements and the content distributions of element in small area.Similarly,we according to particulate matter complicated physical and chemical reactions in the atmosphere and Built a simulation of atmospheric particles heterogeneous reaction?Fe2O3,Fe3O4,CeO2?,FTIR spectrometer analyze molecular substances.In addition,we use X-ray Imaging System to observe particulate matter's Three-dimensional image.In addition,we introduced the single particle analysis of heavy metal elements.LA-ICP-MS to analyze heavy metals elements of single particle analysis?Pb 208,U238,Th232,La139,Ce140?,we optimize measurement to achieve the best way to analyze heavy metals elements of single particle analysis.The main content of this paper is introduced as follows:Firstly,we collect atmospheric particulate matter to characterize by scanning electron microscopy?SEM?and X-ray Imaging System.Secondly,we analyze the city's Air Quality Index?AQI?to determine the concentration gradient in particles' heterogeneous reaction Simulation studies.Finally,we use LA-ICP-MS to analyze heavy metals elements of single particle analysis and optimize measurement to achieve the best way to analyze heavy metals elements.In summary,we studied the size and morphology of atmospheric particulate matter,and simulated heterogeneous reaction of atmospheric particulate matter.Atmospheric particulate matter is a mix of small particulates,we research atmospheric particulate matter on the whole particle of analytical investigation,which often can not obtain information of single particulate matter,especially is single particulate of information.So the study of single particles is becoming more and more popularity.We further understand the formation of atmospheric particles and their effects on harm to human health is of great significance.
