As one of an important feedstock in petrochemical industry, aromatics indicate a country's industrialization level. In recent years, with the development of petrochemical industry and the textile industry, the demand for aromatics is increasing. The SED device which is matched with the upstream CCR unit produce benzene, toluene, and by-products raffinate oil by C6?C7 cut of CCR unit.In this paper, one 85×104 tons/year SED unit applied RIPP's SED process has been designed,And use chemical process simulation software Pro II to simulate the process, especially for the rectification part of the process, and provide the basis for process calculation and process optimization. And according to the basic data and operating experience of the device to adjust the process, optimize the design conditions and process, so the device can meet the requirements of the four cases, and reduce the energy consumption, reduce the cost of investment and operation.The device has been successfully operated, so far, the all quotas have reached the design requirements. Benzene, toluene quality meets the requirements of national standards, the by-Product raffinate oil has reached the requirements of the isomerization unit. The design and implementation of the process for the Quanzhou Petrochemical to create a prominent economic benefits.
