With the development of human society, the polymer material has become one of the indispensable material in our life. Represented in thermosetting resin, epoxy resin, as a kind of excellent performance, has good processing performance, good compatible and polymerization with epoxy resin, excellent mechanical properties, dielectric properties and thermostability. Cyanate ester resin is often used in high frequency printed circuit and performance through materials and other fields. But cyanate ester resin exists the following problems:1. The crystallinity ishigher and the toughness is lower; 2. High curing temperature; 3. The production cost is relatively high. The application environment of cyanate ester resin still far less than epoxy resin in our daily lives.With a development potential, adamantane has the high reactivity, which can produce all kinds of adamantane derivatives. Adamantane also has the higher thermal stability properties and fat-soluble. The hydrophobic performance is good and the structure of aliphatic ring can apply in the material to improve the dielectric performance and ageing resistance. In the view, the application and development of adanmantane has been started. The synthesis and development of adamantane derivatives and applying adanmantane group's advantages in the material have plenty of space research.Based on the above problems, my study mainly researched deeply in the design of two molecular structure of adamantane derivatives, which were 1,3-Bis[4-(4-Aminobenzyloxy)phenyl]adamantine(BABPA) and adanmantane bisphthalonitrile (ABAPh).Through the infrared, nuclear magnetic, mass spectrum, element analysis and so on,the structure had been characterized. Compared with common curing agent DDS, the experiment proved the BABPA is highly active and possess the advantages of adamantane. The B ADCy/AB APh resin system performance was investigated, and the research content is as follows:1. Two novel curing agents 1,3-Bis[4-(4-Aminobenzyloxy)phenyl]adamantine(BABPA) and a novel resin adanmantane bisphthalonitrile (ABAPh) were synthesized.Synthesis process of them are convenient and simple, which pollution and toxicity are quite lower. They are Purified easily and they have higher yield.2. BABPA can effectively reduce the BADCyreaction temperature and improve the processing technology. Adding 9wt% BABPA is the best addition amount by DSC. The curing reaction kinetics of the BADCy/BABPA resin system was studied by using nonisothermal differential scanning calorimetry.The calculated activation energy and reaction order of BADCy/BABPAis 54.05 kJ/mol and 1.322. BADCy/BABPA resin system greatly improves the mechanical properties and thermal stability performance, reduces the water absorption and dielectric constant.3.BADCy/ABAPh resin system has good compatibility of component and which can achieve the purpose of modification by each other. The system not only can improve the stability of BADCy thermal-oxidative stability but also can improve the brittleness of phthalocyanine structure network structure and processing performance. BADCy/ABAPh resin system possess good corrosion resistance and flame retardant properties, attributing to the stable structure of adamantane and phthalocyanine.
