Vulnerability Assessment On Social-Ecological System In Guangxi Coastal Areas

The ecological environment is the foundation of human survival and development.With global warming, the population growth, the rapid development of social economy, and exploiting and utilizing resources constantly,which bring tremendous pressure and influence to the environment and the ecosystem has presented the degradation sign.More and more attention is paid to the study of ecological vulnerability and ecological restoration.In this paper, we select the typical region of the Social- Ecological System--Guangxi coastal areas as the research object.Proposed the idea of social- ecological system integration analysis are introduced into study to evaluate the vulnerability of regional social ecological system.In theory, the social ecosystem theory framework and analysis method can integrate perspectives on the relation between people and land area to study the space-time relationship between system elements comprehensively, which is beneficial to the changing of the coupling relationship in complex,understanding of coastal areas under the condition of social and economic development relationship between people deeply.In practice, not only to the ecological environment evolution of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone has the reference value, but also to the construction of economic zone and social- ecological system recovery has important practical significance, at the same time in the region the efficient utilization of land resources rational allocation, and social economic sustainable development has important guidance and reference value.The article will select natural- economic- social indicators to build Guangxi coastal areas society- ecosystem vulnerability evaluation index system.Then choosing them normalized by Matlab related processing;principal component analysis in SPSS statistics toolbox analysis function call for operation.withdraw the principal component factor, then importing the principal component factor to the Matlab platform to build the BP artificial neural network for training, finally get the results of the analysis.It is concluded the fragility of the reasonable assessment about coastal areas.Then predicting and putting forward some beneficial to restore and protect social ecological system in the study area accordingly.Results show that from 2008 to 2015, from the national level, the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone has developed 8 years, compared with other coastal economic zone, development lags behind, pollution caused by industrialization and urbanization is relatively light.The Beibu Gulf is currently the only “clean sea” in China. At present, Guangxi coastal areas live small population, economic development is slow, the production of social life-ecological environment damage and interference is relatively small.The area of environmental self-purification ability and some protective measures of environmental protection department, making the environmental problems in the study area is relatively small. Measured the Beibu Gulf coastal mountain social- ecological environment vulnerability is a low-grade fragile.But with the rapid economic development,we cannot guarantee the Beibu Gulf social-ecological environment would always in good condition.So I forecast social-ecological environment of the region, forecast results show that with the development of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, the whole Social- Ecological System vulnerability forecasting results for class II, the moderate vulnerable.Finally, because of accelerating industrialization and urbanization,the social ecosystem vulnerability of the northern Gulf Coast is changed from mild to moderate.we should take measures to prevent the occurrence of this phenomenon and safeguard the social- ecological environment.
