Coalbed methane exploitation is a focus project by government promoting new, efficient and clean energy development. Not only can greatly reduce the chance of gas accident in coal mine production, but also can decrease the emission of greenhouse gas methane. Shouyang area of Shanxi is well known of coal mine resource, also rich in coalbed methane.In 2013, HQCEC launched to do the process design of this area, authorized by Zhonglian corporation, took responsible for the development design of this area.According to the special coalbed methane distribution character of Shanxi Shouyang area, and the existing facilities and geographic situations, The project team did some surveys for this area, and then analyzed numbers of data, calculation and simulations. And then gave the end design product suitable for this area. The main process of the article consists of:Collecting the detail data concerning about the geology and route survey under the condition of the geography, geology in this area.and this is mainly used for process route selection, process plan selection. Confirm the main process of the coalbed methane area, technology applied for the route and layout, based on the data from the survey report as some built plant experience.Design the route and station in engineering. Route design includes piping arrangement, piping material selection and so on. The station design includes the plants set in the station, design data confirmed, process option and main equipment's selection. In the design of the route engineering, we should consider two conditions between the 1600m3/d and 2000m3/d by calculation to confirm the process of mainpay line and branch line.In the end, Evaluate the economic benefit, social benefit, environmental effect and safety result for this project.
