But the research about drum shearer's operation reliability analysis is less.Based on the drum shearer's fault data from Shenhua Coal Group Company for many years, through data mining and analysis of fault data, the common fault types and fault downtime of drum shearer's each part are obtained. And also tracking down to all types of drum shearers' whole fault data from from input to scrap. Aimed at the common faults of drum shearer's cutting system,using FTA method to get the bottom events of cutting system's common faults,applying FMEA method to eliminate these factors which cause the potential failure of the cutting system. Under constant operating conditions, with the period from drum shearer's putting into use to the first major overhaul, dividing the drum shearer's operation process into four states, studying on the rule of performance degradation at different stages, identifying drum shearer's critical state reliability, analyzing, evaluating and predicting the reliability of drum shearer. In the case of considering maintenance, the semi Markov model is used to model the drum shearer's operation process. To gather statistics of each type drum shearer's transfer of the reliability state in a major overhaul period.Calculating the coal quantity in different conditions, studying the transition probability between different reliability states, deducing distribution function of coal quantity in the same reliability state. Under the variable operating conditions, taking the drum shearer's middle feed cutting coal for instance, The running process is defined as six states, analyzing the influence on drum shearer's structure reliability, subsystems and components performance in different operating conditions.The research on the reliability of the drum shearer's operation process will provide reference for the enterprise to make the equipment maintenance plan,and providing the basis for the drum shearer to make a reasonable maintenance and overhaul.
