As the typical of high energy density material,CL-20 is a kind of compounds in cage type and the highest energy explosives by far,which was discovered in recent years and had high density,high energy,high detonation pressure and high detonation velocity.The energy output of CL-20 is about 10%-15% higher than that of HMX,and it has good thermodynamic stability.Because it can improve the performance of various of weapons, it is synthesized successfully and widely used in the research and synthesis of mixed explosive, propellant and propellant.In this paper, the explosive detonation pressure testing method is studied and analyzed. Combined with current experimental situation,we select the test system of high pressure range of manganin piezoresistance method which suit best. To verify the reliability of the test system, electromagnetic environment compatibility of experiment site, the feasibility of the scheme of experimental testing technology, reliability of sensor protection package and the correctness of the test results,the experiments of TNT and JO-8 explosives are made, and the results show that the test results are of good accuracy. On this basis,the test to CL-20 explosive is made and the detonation pressure parameter of CL-20 which density is 1.93 g/cm is about 39 GPa according to the experimental data.By the error analysis and calculation to the test, the reduction of the waveform signal in coaxial cable and the actual pressure of detonation wave without attenuation.Using the matlab software, the detonation waveforms measured are transformed by Fourier and analyzed.
