With the rapid growing demand for polymer materials,polymer composite materials and products of different functions has been fully developed, and is widely used in various industries.With the rapid development of automobile industry,people presents a comprehensive high performance requirements towards automobile tires.If we add short fiber in the rubber compound, and use various methods short fibers oriented in the radial direction, can significantly improve the overall performance of the tire so that it has high tear strength, low wear and low rolling friction and other characteristics, but also improve the overall rigidity of the tire,making the car balanced handling, ride comfort and tire wear resistance can be improved, it has attracted people's attentions highly.In this paper, we designed a distributary coextrusion orientation die,intended in the short fiber reinforced rubber extrusion process,rubber of lower orientation stereotypes flow passages section and the upper orientation stereotypes flow passages section coextruded an extrusion molding,thereby enabling the top rubber of the short fiber "inject" in the rubber compound of lower section of flow passages oriented stereotypes through the vertical hole in the filter plate so that the short fibers oriented radially. This article completed the following work:Firstly, access to domestic and foreign short-fiber-reinforced rubber composite related literature;Studies have investigated the mechanism of orientation of short fibers in short fiber reinforced rubber injection molding extrusion process,we invented a distributary extrusion orientation die, the die could achieve short fiber radial orientation through the co-extruded rubber injections.Secondly, used ADINA finite element analysis software to analyze the major factor in the flow channel configuration and distributary coextrusion orientation die structure parameters; Filled the whole flow path pressure, velocity, velocity vectors were simulated,by means of the simulation results analyzed the influence of the head runner configuration and orientation die flow channel structure parameters on radially oriented short fibers in rubber compounds, meanwhile expressed the affection of the flow path configuration and the structural parameters of distributary coextrusion orientation die to the material in the flow passages of the flow more vividly and intuitively.Thirdly, in this paper, a systematic experimental research for short fiber radial orientation was implemented;Used the distributary coextrusion orientation die and general extrusion die to have comparative tests in the same experimental conditions, and also carried out DMA tests. The experimental results showed that the distributary coextruded orientation die extruded higher quality of compound rubber material; Distributary coextruded orientation die of parameters were performed orthogonal experiment, and the experimental results were range analyzed; Carried out the extrusion process and the structural parameters of coextruded orientation die comparative experiment, got the optimum structure parameters and the extrusion process of the die.Fourthly,reconstructed the three-dimensional morphology of polyester fibers in the rubber compound by high-precision three-dimensional X-ray microscope, combined with MATLAB mathematical methods for orientation angle and made the degree of orientation quantitative characterization polyester staple fiber in the rubber compound done to solve the difficult technical problem of Three-dimensional reconstruction of polyester fiber, what's more, fill the blank of polyester orientation angles and the degree of orientation characterization in short fibers radially oriented technology.Finally, proformed comparative tests by the use of independent design staple fiber tread rubber wear test equipment in different extrusion die with SFRC, different kinds of rubber types with distributary coextruded orientation die, which was in the condition of wear in different angles, different speeds, different load conditions; The experimental results showed that SFRC made by distributary coextrusion orientation die had higher abrasion resistance, and achieved the radial orientation of short fiber reinforced rubber tread wear tests simulation.
