Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic-Titanium alloy laminated plate is widely used in aerospace industry. The assembly process of the laminated plate requires a lot of riveting and assembly holes, and those holes need high quality. However, due to the two materials are quite different in property, causing the hole quality can't be guaranteed and tool is easy to wear. To solve these problems, the Peck drilling technology with drilling varying parameter and the K10 solid carbide twist drill are be used to machining carbon fiber reinforced plastic-titanium alloy laminated plate in this thesis. Theoretical analysis and experimental research about tool wear,drilling force, interpass temperature, chip shape and hole quality in this technology were carried out. In addition, the comparative research of this technology and traditional machining technology provides some reliable evidences for drilling this kind of material. The main research content is as follows:( 1) The interpass temperature and cutting force in the drilling of carbon fiber reinforced plastic-titanium alloy laminated plate are measured and analyzed. A formula of drilling axial force of titanium alloy layer has been established by binary linear regression method. The results show that with the increase of the feed of titanium alloy layer, interpass temperature increases gradually,and the axial force of titanium alloy layer shows a increase tendency.(2)The relation between the cutting parameters of titanium alloy, tool wear, chip shape and hole quality in the Peck drilling technology with drilling varying parameter have been analyzed. The relationship of hole number, tear at the entrance of carbon fiber reinforced plastic layer and burned at the exit of carbon fiber reinforced plastic layer have been observed. The results show that low speed and low feed can reduce tool wear and improve hole quality.(3)The comparative analysis of the Peck drilling technology with drilling varying parameter, drilling varying parameter technology and traditional machining technology has been carried out. The results show that the tear at the entrance of carbon fiber reinforced plastic layer, the roundness of hole, the roughness of hole wall and chip shape of the Peck drilling technology with drilling varying parameter are better than that of the other two technology.
