Dust is one of the most important industry disasters. Dust explosion has been found to cause the enormous economic lose, and lead to die. Long term exposure of the human respiratory system to dust causes pneumoconiosis, an incurable occupational lung disease. The main way to dust control is usually limited to the use of water spraying systems, but its equipment' pressure is too high to increase the prise, and that is harmfull to its submission. Dust control rate effect of droplet size of water is conspicuous. So it is of importance that development of a series of new air-and-water spraying devices, which is low price and pressure, easy to install, which provide a certain value for engineering design.In recent years, following the development of magnetized technology, many studies about magnetized water has been reported. In this paper, it was applied to dust control. However, so far, those researches of eliminating dust by magnetized water are limited, and weather it is able to improve the dust fall rate has not been made clear completely.In this paper,wet collection technology was regard as the investigating object. Tap water and magnetized water were used for spraying. First of all, the magnetized water are preparing, and its dissolving ability was tested, then the droplet size of water-cloud was measured by LS 2000 measuring system of droplet granularity. The surface tension of magnetized water was studied for different the magnetic time and temperature. Based on this, the reason why the dust fall rate of magnetized water would better than the non-magnetized water was explained reasonably. The experimental platform was designed and manufactured to couple the relationship between dust field and droplet field. The researches results may improve the dust fall rate at the condition of middle and low pressure and theory development in the field of the dust fall with magnetized water spraying in the real conditions.The content of this work contains the following aspects: With the pressure of atomization, dust fall rate improved. It changes obviously in some conditions, but in other conditions it does not change significantly after the pressure reached at 1.6 MPa. The distance of single nozzle from dust sources has an effect on dust fall rate. Compared the dust fall rate between single nozzle far away from the dust sources and closer distance, the father one is better. Efficiency of dust control with water spaying installation was by 69% higher for the respirable dust and 73% for total dust, and magnictized water's was by 72% higher for the respirable dust and 87% for total dust. The dust fall rate is also higher than the non-magnetized water, and dust fall rate is higher than airborne'. Dust fall rate of double nozzle mist system is higher than single's. But with the increase of water pressure, the dust fall efficiency of the double nozzle slightly increases from 86% to 88%, the airborne' constantly improves from 68% to 75%. According to the results, the higher water pressure is, the more efficiency dust fall.
