Steel industry blast furnace slag for the effective recovery of the sensible heat required to change the granulation process, namely dry granulation alternative to traditional water-granulation processes. So far, however, due to the immaturity of domestic and foreign dry granulation method and technology, and did not realize industrialization. Therefore, the study of new dry granulation method technology to attain industrialization is the steel industry to achieve energy-saving emission reduction requirements must. According to the basic idea of conventional dry granulation process, the research team developed a new type of dry granulated blast furnace slag granulation means having a good effect, but there are still some issues that need improvement, which is also the main content.To reduce experimental cost and feasibility analysis for subsequent research, experiment, numerical simulation of fluid mechanics research methods. FLUENT software using granulated blast furnace slag cooling means physical simulation and parameter optimization, including(1) a high slag granulation process cooling experiments are simulated, and select the simulation to validate the correctness of the model;(2) quantity of inlet vane type granulation equipment on the internal gas flow field;(3) research into the number of the outlet, the inlet velocity impact of granulated blast furnace slag cooling process.Studies have shown that: results and blast furnace slag dry granulation test results, and that is the choice of physical models, solver and the definition of the boundary conditions are correct. Important for industrialized dry granulation method.
