Research On Fashion Regenerative Design And Its Application

In the face of the severe reality of shortage of resources and environmental degradation,the concept of sustainable development is put forward by the United Nations world commission on environment and development. Regenerative design is one of the trend of practice of the idea of sustainable development,affecting architectural design, garden design, furniture design and fashion design and so on.Fashion regenerative design is language focus and difficult points of this paper.First of all,in the part of theory analysis,the present paper introduces the background and concept of regeneration design.Then,this thesis reinterprets the concept under the background of costume design and puts forward the concept and principles of fashion regenerative design.What’s more,the significance and necessity of fashion regenerative design are discussed.Secondly,in the part of factual research,the research first splits the subject of fashion regenerative design by the perspective of practical subject into four kinds:independent designers,garment manufactures,DIY enthusiasts and social public welfare organization.Simultaneously,it classify the fashion regenerative design by the perspective of elements of clothing design into three types:regeneration of fabric,regeneration of construction and regeneration of pattern and color.Then,specific to different types of clothing regeneration design subjects, this paper separately puts forward the relevant opinions and suggestions. Finally,based on the characteristics and current situation of Chinese society,the opportunities an challenges fashion regenerative design may be experience in China are analyzed in this paper.Through the above analysis and research,this paper draw the following conclusions.First,there is a different in the fashion regenerative design and the commercial design.The objective of the clothing regenerative design is the realization of the recurrence and sustainable development of the whole textile industry.Thus,the realization of it need the endeavor and wisdom of the whole society.Second,there are abundant and various design methods in thefashion regenerative design.
