| The ratio of oil in seeds of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge tree is as high as from 30.4% to 47%,the ratio of oil in kernels can be from 66.39% to 74%,and its oil content is more than the common oil species’ in China,which makes Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge very valuable.However,shelling is the key and very difficult process for its deeply processing,and there is little research on shelling mechanism and no equipements on shelling so far for Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge.Shelling mechanism and key technologies of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge have been mainly studied,and the conclusions are as followed:1.Physical properties,such as dimensions,shell thickness,hundred-grain weight and water content were tested through experiments,meanwhile impacts on influencing factors of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge’s shelled force were studied.The conclusion indicates that size and water content of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge are the primary factors for its shelled force,also,the function relationships between the shelled force and size and water content are obtained respectively.2.A 3-D mode of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge was built by Solidworks.The stress distribution and the strain distribution of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge were analyzed by Workbench under three loading methods of X,Y,and Z.Compared with the experimental data,the best breaking effect was loaded under Y direction.3.Based on the research of physical properties of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge,using shelling net rate as an index,analysis and comparison experiments on the existing impact nut sheller and the machined twin-roll-squeeze sheller were carried out.As a result,the twin-roll-squeeze sheller has a better peel effect.4.The 3 factors,namely,external distance of the two rollers,rotation rate of the drive roll and water content,were studied to decided whether they have impact on the shelling net rate of the twin-roll-squeeze sheller.The conclusion indicates that external distance of the two rollers and water content are the primary factors for its shelling net rate.5.Considering the cost,it is generally not advisable to reduce water content through drying in practice.And intensive studies on the other factor,namely,external distance of the two rollers,were carried out.Then,a classification-twin-roll-squeeze sheller was developed,which makes the shelling net rate up to around 86.4%.6.A preliminary research of kernel shell separation of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge by salt water proportion method was studied.The conclusion shows that it has the best separation effect which is 82.5% when the water salt weight is 100:9. |
