In order to improve the crystallization,the impact performance and the flame retardant performance of PHBV,the PHBV flame retardant composites were prepared.The PHBV was blended with PBAT by melt compounding.The accelerated crystallization rate and the improved crystallization of PHBV were observed due to the nucleating effect of PBAT.The cystallization mechanism of PHBV was shifted from the growth of crystals to the foemation of crystalline nucleus.The elongation at break and impact resistant performance of PHBV was improved by adding PBAT,when the content of PBAT was 20%,the impact strength reached the maximum value 6.3 k J/m2.Three kinds of ammonium polyphosphate fame retardant were added into PHBV/PBAT composite,respectively.The flame retardant was improved and the burning level was reached to V-1.The ammonium polyphosphate flame retardant with APP,MEL and PER was better than the other two kinds of ammonium polyphosphate flame retardant,which can form tight carbon layer structure on the surface of PHBV/PBAT composite.The incorporation of ammonium polyphosphate flame retardant resulted in the improvement of flame retardant of PHBV/PBAT composite,but the mechanical performance was deteriorated and the burning phenomenon of molten drops fall was not eased.In order to improve these disadvantages,the nanoscale organic modified montmorillonite was put into the PHBV/PBAT flame retardant composite.When the content of MMT was 1%,the burning level reached to V-0,the LOI reached to 36%,the mechanical performance was improved greatly.
