| Hydropower is one of the clean and renewable energy resources,hydro generation will almost not result in any waste air,waste water and solid waste,which is nearly zero emission.Howver,hydropower construction will inevitably affect the river system and its surrounding environment.The environmental impacts caused by hydropower development are complicated.There are negative impacts,but also positive impacts;wide range affects and partial affects;short term affects and long term & accumulative afftects,which might cause quantitive and qualitative change.This dissertation analyzes the impacts of hydropower development on Oujiang River,through investigation,data collection and theorical analysis.It introduced the natural environment,social and economic situation of the Oujiang River and the engineering parameters of the selected hydropower projects.Continously,it analyzed the hydropower development impacts via natural,ecological and social aspects.Finaly,it raised some suggestions for hydropower development.And appeal for “green hydro”,viz.a harmonious development of hydropower,ecological environment,as well as the economic and social development,to promot a sustainable and healthy hydropower development. |
