Utilization of alkali weight-reduction wastewater residue is one of the most important means to solve the environmental problems of printing and dyeing industry.In this thesis,the chemical reaction of DMT production were studied.A high-temperature and a medium-temperature reactor were established to investigate the parameters in influence on the synthesis of DMT including amount of catalyst,reaction temperature,the ratio of raw materials,stirring speed,stripping rate of MEO.HPLC was used to analyze samples.The experimental results on laws of high-temperature esterification showed that SPFS had the higher catalytic activity than others with reaction parameters as followed:the mass ratio of catalyst is 1.0%,reaction time was 20min,reaction temperature is 250?,the mass ratio of MEO to TA is 3,under this condition,the conversion of TA was 99%and the yield of DMT was 87%.The macroscopic kinetic model on the esterification was established,and the parameters of model were determined by MATLAB.The experimental results on laws of medium-temperature esterification showed that DMT production was not affected by stirring speed when stirring speed exceeded 400RPM.The conversion of TA and the yield of DMT were increased with the increase of stripping rate of MEO between 2.55g/min and 8g/min.Besides,the technological process of DMT production including Esterification Section,Refining Section,MEO Recovery Section were designed by Aspen Plus,the optimal process parameters were determined and had reference value for industries.
