Bridge plug horizontal well staged fracturing technology is the main technology of unconventional oil and gas well development,and using the milling tool drill and mill bridge plug is the key step of this technology.CFRP has a very wide range of application at present.It's specific strength,specific modulus and high temperature performance is superior.The oil fields domestic and overseas gradually apply it to the bridge plug manufacturing.Because carbon fiber reinforced composite material is difficult to machining,milling toll appears serious problem that milling tool is easy wearing.So we need to conduct the thorough research to the CFRP bridge plug cutting technology.The article uses finite element simulation and fundamental cutting test methods to study cutting technology of carbon fiber reinforced composite bridge plug.First,we use finite element analysis software ABAQUS establishing CFRP cutting simulation model to study CFRP cutting process,and we study the cutting process of CFRP from the view of numerical simulation and theoretically knowing the cutting deformation process clearly.Then,for the problem of milling tool serious wear in the bridge plug drilling and milling process we use fundamental cutting test method to study.Using coated carbide tool to cut CFRP,and we observe tool wear form and analyzing tool wear regularity.Through the study concluded that tool wear mechanism is abrasive wear.Using a single variable method respectively analyzes the cutting speed,cutting depth and feed rate on the influence of tool wear,coming to the conclusion that the influence of cutting speed on tool wear is biggest.Using YG8 and YT15 two common brand carbide tools cutting CFRP to study the influence of physical and mechanical properties of tool materials for tool wear,and drawing the conclusion YG8 is more suitable for cutting carbon fiber composite materials.Finally,through the analysis of carbon fiber composite materials cutting process based on finite element simulation and the conclusion of fundamental cutting experiment,we analyze the reason of the tool wear and the methods reducing tool wear,and improve the cutting technology of CFRP bridge plug.(1)Improved the structure of the milling tool.(2)Selected tool material reasonable,selecting YG8 carbide tool.(3)Optimized the parameters of drilling and milling,using low cutting speed and large feed.
