System Design For Automatic Thickness Control Of Hot Rolled Strip Steel In TISCO

With the development of science and technology,the automation level of rolling mill is improving gradually.The modern industry of hot rolling strip steel quality requirements are also getting higher and higher,and the thickness accuracy is one of the important indexes to measure the quality of strip steel.Therefore,in-depth study of the rolling mill thickness control is very necessary.The hydraulic automatic gauge is widely used in the steel rolling control due to its characteristics of high control precision,fast response speed and overload protection is simple and reliable,and is widely used in the steel rolling production.This paper is prepared under the background that Tonghua Iron imported hot rolling mill from Mitsubishi Japan.It gives an introduction of the history,characteristics and current status of thickness control of hot rolling strip steel.It studies the production technology and assembly level.This article,through thickness control theory,specifies the control method for hot rolling strip steel.Full studies were made on the equipment,technology and characteristics for thickness control.Detailed analysis is conducted on the control scope,control method,hardware structure,function of the control system.Factors that may affect thickness control are put forward and relevant methods are specified.The rolling speed and force is calculated and rolling gap is set.The strength of the roller and the capacity of the master motor is checked.Factors that may affect the thickness of strip steel are eliminated so that the thickness of the rolled steel can meet the requirement of the design.Steel strip thickness control system has good control effect in the practical application,the thickness changes within the required 10?m.It is better than the thickness specified in the contract clauses.Excellent tot rolled steel quality improves the competitive ability of hot rolled steel plate and strip;at the meantime it also provides a strong support for the steel industry chain extension.
