Palygorskite clay reserves in China are rich,but the development and utilization of attapulgite clay is low.In this paper,the attapulgite clay and zeolite based on a simple and easy method were modified to study on low-cost,environmentally friendly clay minerals with excellent removal effect on common pollutants in aquaculture water.Calcium-rich attapulgite clay was prepared by simple thermal modification method.The effect of phosphorus removal on the actual wastewater was simulated.The kinetics and isotherm of phosphorus and Ca2+ release were studied by batch test to study the removal of attapulgite clay.Mechanism attapulgite phosphate adsorption and sodium chloride modification of the original zeolite were studied,research the best modified zeolite concentration on the removal of ammonia nitrogen in water,ferric chloride modified attapulgite clay hydrated iron oxide loaded attapulgite clay.The structure and surface of attapulgite clay were characterized by different methods and the removal efficiency of arsenic was evaluated by comparing different concentration of attapulgite modified by hydrated iron oxide.The results show that high temperature thermal modification could change the adsorption properties of calcium-rich attapulgite,increased the content of calcium in calcium-rich attapulgite,formed calcium oxide or other calcium compounds,improved the adsorption performance of calcium-rich attapulgite;The modified zeolite increased the roughness of the crystal surface of the zeolite,making the crystal beam dispersion more uniform;after modification,the specific surface area and total pore volume of the zeolite were increased and the average pore diameter was reduced,but also larger than the diameter of NH4 +.The zeolite pore was dredged,some impurities were removed,the adsorbent sites on the zeolite surface were increased,and the adsorption performance of the zeolite was increased.0.6mol/L modified ferric oxide loaded palygorskite clay could significantly increase the adsorption of arsenic,When the concentration of As5+ was 50mg/L,the adsorption efficiency of As5+ was improved by 61.78%.When the concentration of arsenic was low,the modified attapulgite had excellent recycling ability,could be reused.It could be concluded that the low cost and environmentally friendly adsorption materials could be prepared by simple and easy modification methods.These materials could be applied to the adsorption and control of contaminants in aquaculture wastewater and could achieve good results.
