Study On Grease Resistance Of Several Biodegradable Materials In Food Packaging Greaseproof Paper

Food packaging greaseproof paper is a kind of paper used to preventing food grease through.Compared with fluorided greaseproof paper,biodegradable greaseproof paper has many characteristics,such as security,green environmental protection etc.This paper gets the biodegradable food packaging greaseproof paper coated with chitosan and carboxymethylated MFC(C-MFC)etc,and studied different coating processes' influence on grease resistance number of paper and mechanical properties,coating processes include the single-component coating,two-component coating and layers of self-assembly.In the process of single-component coating greaseproof paper's studies,the paper systemly analyses influence of oil repellent dosage on paper's grease resistance number.It was concluded that under the condition of solid content of 1%,the fat barrier properties of chitosan and C-MFC is superior to other components.In the process of two-component coating greaseproof paper's studies,the paper systemly analyses synergy effect of different variables on the fat barrier properties,variables including:the ratio of the main components,concentration,dosages and pH value.When the ratio of mixture is 1:4,oil repellent concentration is 1.2%,coating weight is 1.2g/m2,pH value is 6,grease resistance number of paper coated paper by the chitosan and polyvinyl alcohol is10.5,hot oil testing results show there are not the oil point in the paper surface.When coating weight is 2g/m2,compared with base paper,the tensile strength and elongation increased by 12.5%and 30%,tear index and burst degrees increased by 25%and 21%,when coating weight is 1.5g/m2,paper porosity decreased to the minimum test values of instrument.When the ratio of mixture is 1:3,oil repellent concentration is 1.6%,coating weight is 2.4g/m2,pH value is 5.5-6,grease resistance number of paper coated paper by the chitosan and cationic starch isl0.5,hot oil testing results show there are not the oil point in the paper surface.When coating weight is 3.2g/m2,compared with base paper,the tensile strength and elongation increased by 9%and 17%,tear index and burst degrees increased by 25%and 15%.There is anti-oil film on coated paper surface by SEM.Two-component coating greaseproof paper coated by C-MFC/alginate and C-MFC/cationic starch has a bad properties of fat barrier.When chitosan with C-MFC layers of self-assembled coating,the method of first coating chitosan is a bit better.When coating weight is 4g/m2,grease resistance number is close to the number of chitosan single-component coating.When coating weight is 5g/m2,compared with base paper,the tensile strength and elongation increased by 34%and 21%,tear index and burst degrees increased by 43%and 25%,and greaseproof paper also has a good gas barrier property.By the SEM analysis,with coating weigh increasing,paper surface becomes smooth.
