The mosquito coil is a daily necessity of our life and usually in summer there is a high demand for mosquito coil.Therefore,a high automation level of production devices is expected.The automatic alignment device for mosquito coil ends is an important part of the packaging system of mosquito coils.Its good performance can directly improve the alignment effect of mosquito coils,and prevent mosquito coil ends from being broken during the transport process.On the basis of ensuring the alignment effect,the alignment efficiency should be as far as possible to be improved.Focusing on improving the alignment efficiency,a device for aligning continuously mosquito coil ends is designed in this paper.The main research work of this paper is as follows:Firstly,the system scheme is proposed for realizing continuously automatic alignment of mosquito coil ends,and the related structure design is achieved.Based on the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of the existing automatic alignment devices of mosquito coil ends,this paper aims to improve the efficiency of the device.Through analyzing and decomposing the general function and combining the minimum functional cells,the final scheme of the device is determined,where a combination of friction wheel and chain drive is employed.According to the final scheme,the structure design and parameter choice are carried out for sprockets,chains,motor and other components.Based on the position relationship of each component,the 3D solid assembly model of the automatic alignment device of mosquito coil ends is established using the 3D design software SolidWorks.Secondly,the simulation analysis is realized for the chain drive system in this device.According to the motion characteristics of the general chain drive system,the polygon effect of the chain drive system is the key factor affecting the motion stability in the device.Based on the multi-body dynamics analysis software,ADAMS,the model is simulated with different rotating speed values.A suitable speed range is determined based on the vibration analysis of the simulation results.Finally,based on the 3D printing technology,the physical prototype is established and experiments are conducted.In order to shorten the making period of the physical prototype,the 3D printing technology is employed to produce some components of the device.The physical prototype is assembled according to the position relationship of the components.Automatic alignment experiments for mosquito coil ends are carried out using the physical prototype,and the availability of the device is verified.The reasons for occasional failures are discussed,and some improvement measures are proposed.
