| Bonnets, refers to the child’s hats, it has both decorative and practical. "Fish" is one of the totem of the Chinese nation in long history, and Fish Patterns are throughout in Chinese Traditional Decorative Art. Fish-shaped bonnet, refers to the overall shape be simulated to fish profile, and with the characteristics of three-dimensional modeling. Application of fish-shaped bonnet is very extensive, and has profound cultural connotation and aesthetic value.This dissertation focuses on the “fish-shaped bonnet” which the collection in National Costume Museum as the object of study, through the literature review, physical research, and comprehensive analysis, and other research methods to sorting out the style modeling, colorful designs, decoration craft, and cultural connotation of “fish-shaped bonnet”, and combined with bionics, color research and other related theories to analyze it. The end of this dissertation will focus on integrate the traditional fish-shaped bonnet elements used in modern fashion design.Discussion on the application of design innovation in the aspects of color matching, decoration and material, process pattern reconstruction and so on. The writer hopes that this dissertation can provide a new thinking direction for the innovative application of traditional ethnic elements in modern clothing design, but also provide the reference for the further research of other scholars. |
