Shell and tube heat exchangers are widely used in petroleum,chemical industry,energy and other fields.So they play an important role in energy-saving technology and new energy utilization.Their modernization leads to the increase of the diameter and thickness,which makes the design and manufacture more difficult.Therefore,in view of the problems existing in the design,manufacture and application of grove with large diameter heat exchanger,this paper presents a new type of heat exchanger.And the stress and deformation of the grove are analyzed.This paper has certain significance for promoting the technological progress of the design of shell and tube heat exchanger.This paper proposes a design method of using the fan annular tube sheet instead of the integral tube sheet to reduce the equivalent size of the tube sheet on the the basis of the previous research results.And it also reduces the tube plate thickness and manufacturing difficulty.In this paper,the finite element method is used to analyze the stress concentration caused by the opening of the fan annular sheet in different geometrical dimensions,and the stress distribution of the annular sheet is compared with that of the non-perforated annular plate.The relationship between the stress concentration factor and the geometric size is obtained.At the same time,the deformation of fan annular tube sheets on different size was analyzed.The analysis results shows that the deformation of the fan annular tube sheets in the far from the boundary support is biggest.And the deformation of the opening fan annular is obviously less than non-opening.So the opening has significant effect on the deformation of the fan annular sheets.In this paper,finite element analysis of stress and deformation for fan annular sheets in the conditions of opening and non-opening has been researched,and the law of stress and deformation with fan annular plate parameters change has been obtained,the research work of this paper not only provides a reference for the design and manufacture of the fan annular composite tube sheet heat exchanger,but also provides the data support for the related theory perfection.
