PTFE material has all kinds of better properties,such as self-lubrication,chemical stability,electrical insulation,NO adhesion and Weatherability,and it is a perfect solid lubrication material.The application refers to aerospace,automotive electronics,petrochemical engineering,constructing,light textile etc.Become an obbligato material in military industry and civil facility.But the pure PTFE is lower load bearing strength,bad wear resistance,easy creep,and terrible heat conducting.So pure is hard to use as wear layer.For many years,people want to improve PTFE wear resistance and load strength via kinds of modified methods.And the most convenient and fast method is filled modify,filled some special material to make PTFE fit for kinds of industry application.The article introduces two processes how to produce coating layer,and fixed the friction coefficient measurement,abrasion loss and wear surface SEM via theoretical analysis.And made the lamination and sintering samples,and get the expected test results.The test report told us,both of two coating layer friction coefficient appeared increase in advance and then decrease trend along with relative sliding speed increasing,and appeared slowly increasing with loading increase;Abrasion loss test result showed that both coating layer wear resistance are similar,and lamination will be a little bit bigger owe to thick layer;The SEM photo also verified speed and loading will influence the coating layer properties.As for the fault of lamination process in heavy loading and higher speed condition,we will try to improve it via filled CNTs,the find out the difference in friction coefficient measurement,abrasion loss and SEM.The modified process appeared that CNTs composites can decrease the friction coefficient during the whole testing,and abrasion loss also smaller.
