Printing and dyeing industry is one of the prominent industries in Zhejiang Province,it is one of the largest industrial industries especially in Hangzhou,Shaoxing,Jiaxing ect.Pressure dyeing equipments is the most important equipment during the dyeing yarn and dyeing cloth process,due to a number of reasons,pressure dyeing equipments occurs explosions and other accidents frequently,this will causing death or injury to the relevant employees,and also causing economic losses to the printing and dyeing enterprises.Therefore,the failure of the pressure dyeing equipment is studied,and the typical structure of this equipment is analyzed,to find out the reasons of dangerous defects,summarize and put forward corresponding countermeasures,timely elimination the risks of pressure dyeing equipments,effective prevention of accidents is of great significance to the social and economic development.In this paper,the chemical composition of the medium,base metals and flange material of the pressure dyeing equipment is analyzed,the microstructure of base metals and flange material is checked,and the typical cases were also analyzed.The finite element method was used to analyze the typical structures of pressure dyeing equipments.Based on the research of the failure and the finite element analysis of the typical structures,combined with the actual engineering practice,it is concluded that the high chloride content of the medium leads to the occurrence of stress corrosion failure,the causes of intergranular corrosion are mostly due to improper selection of material;the stress corrosion and fatigue failure of fillet weld are usually caused by the discontinuity of the structure,the defect of welding and the improper installation;external additional stress loads and improper use of operation and disorder management promoted the emergence and extension of the defect.According to the research results and actual engineering some practical and effective methods were put forward.The improvement of material and structure,anufacturing,installation and other aspects were put forward.In order to provide technical support for the safety production management,dyeing equipment manufacturing and inspection technology upgrading of dyeing enterprises.
