It is well known that large amount of water is needed in printing and dyeing industry and high quality water is needed. The cations such as Ca2+, My2+, Fe2+, Mn2+ and anions like Cl-1 in water will highly damage the quality of textile. Economical and practical equipment is needed to remove or at least to lower down the contents of cations and anions mentioned above to a certain level. After comparing and study, pressure filter and especially ion exchanger became our main choice. Ion exchanger can reduce the contents of the salt in water by exchanging the cations and anions in water. The technology of ion exchanger is widely used in water treatment field. It can completely remove the impurities and it does not need strict water pretreatment. And the cost is cheap in making the equipment.There are different kind of materials can be used to make pressure filter and ion exchanger like new types of plastic, stainless steel, and also normal carbon constructional steel. Considering the cost, life of use, it is good to use normal carbon constructional steel. But normal carbon constructional steel must be rot-proof treated. Nowadays, there are different measures of rot-proof treatment. Lining with rubber is adapted for rot-proof after research. The main contents of this thesis are the making steps of rubber lining equipment, lining method, lining quality inspecting methods and how to deal with the lining flaws. This thesis mainly researches the making technology of lining equipment noumenon, the rot-proof technique for rubber lining equipment in order to get breakthrough in the lining technique and doing some beneficial explorations in rot-proof field of printing and dyeing industry. The following conclusions were got after studying:1.Rubber lining is based on high grade carbon steel as basic raw material. The equipment was made with rot-proof lining rubber inside. This lining technology has unique characteristics comparing with other rot-proof technologies. The rubber lined equipment can be used in water treatment in printing and dyeing industry. The surface of the pressure filter and ion exchanger used in printing and dyeing industry can be rot-proof treated by rubber lining.2.The making technics of the noumenon of pressure filter and ion exchanger are as the followings: Selecting of material for the noumenon, making the noumenon, hydraulic pressure test, sandblasting.3.The rubber lining processes on inside surface of pressure filter and ion exchanger are as the followings: material selection (choosing slab rubber), preparation of epoxy resin glue, selection of binding agent, slab rubber affixing, sulfuration. The rubber lining processes are as: two-time coating of ground glue, coating the surface glue, cutting of the rubber material during coating of the ground glue, affixing the slab of butyl rubber, inspection with electric sparks.
