Plastic is everywhere in our daily lives. It appears not only convenient for our human life, but also brought serious environmental pollution. So that waste plastics processing has become one of today's social problems. This paper selects two kinds of common plastic which are Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene Copolymer?ABS?and polyethylene?PE?.The first part of the experiment was the TGA experiment. Each of these elemental and mixture of two waste plastics were conducted thermogravimetric experiments in different heating rates. We analyzed these 20 groups of data by n-order kinetic equation method,Kissinger method and Flynn-Wall-Ozawa method. We can found that the element of PE and ABS were similar in decomposition reaction. They were both one-step decomposition reaction. With the heating rate rising, the TG curves were shifted to higher temperature zones, the initial temperature?Ti?? the end temperature?Tf?and the maximum temperature(Tmax)were on the rise during the experiment.Pyrolysis rate increased;maximum pyrolysis rate also increased;but the ending of the quality of the remaining percentage did not changed significantly. We can also found that the synergy present in the two components.Three kinds of equations could be used to found their activation energy. This study can provide experimental data and theoretical base for pyrolytic utilization of plastic wastes, whilst there is a wide application of pyrolysis of plastic solid wastes. The second part of this study was the pyrolysis.During this part we found out whether the solid product had adsorption capacity after pyrolyzed. As we all know, the liquid product in the process of degradation of the plastic can be reused to generate liquid fuel.If the solid product can be obtained again,it can reduce energy waste. In this part,we studyon the solid product and had done scanning electron microscopy experiments on it.And we found the possibility to make the activated carbon. After the activation, doing the methylene blue adsorption experiments, the solid product was determined the activated adsorption properties by a methylene blue standard curve.During the experiment,we could find that when the waste plastic mass ratio of 5:1?ABS:PE=5:1?,carbonization temperature of 500 ?,carbonization time in 1 hour, heating rate of 10 ?/min,the pore structure of the resulting carbide was best. And the adsorption capacity of methylene blue was 271.3mg/g.This will provide a reference for resource utilization of waste plastics.
