Phosphate ores is an important national strategic resource.Siliceous calcium in the phosphate rock resources of our country is difficult to choose and the sedimentary phosphate ores accounted for 75%.Phosphate is “colloidal” amorphous fine aggregate and mineral impurities closely associated.Grinding fineness is very fine to monomer dissociation.Due to the fine's large specific surface area,high surface energy,so the collector perform large quantities,poor selectivity and severely even affect the quality of phosphate concentrate.It puts forward higher requirements on ore dressing.Experiment regarded Jinning high silica calcareous phosphate as the research object,and the influence of flocculating agent to phosphate direct flotation behavior was studied.The study found that at the flotation condition of grinding fineness-0.037 mm accounting for 80%,sodium carbonate as regulator,water glass as depressor,sodium oleate as collector,nonionic flocculant F-08 had prominent effect on Jinning phosphate.Adding30.0g/t F-08 got a phosphate concentrate with P2O5 grade of 24.54% and the recovery of85.30%.The flocculants of S series,F-10,Y5 and Y6 were unfavorable to the positive flotation of Jinning phosphate rock.Although Y3,N+09 and 850 make it easy to phosphate flotation,the effect is inferior to the F-08.The analysis of mechanism on nonionic flocculant F-08 to phosphate was researched though settlement test,Zate potential test,infrared spectrum analysis and particle size analysis.The results showed that F-08 had an important influence on sedimentation of phosphate.Sedimentation had best performance under the condition of dosage of flocculant F-08 of 60g/t,sodium silicate of 2.0kg/t,pH at 9,flotation machine mixing speed of 1500 r/min and pulp density of 25%.Particle size analysis of the single mineral indicated proportion of fine particles was decreasing after adding flocculating agent F-08,and it was result of flocculation between fine particles.There was no flocculation effect of flocculant F-08 on quartz.The results of Zate potential indicated that collector sodium oleate was easilyadsorbed on the surface of phosphate single mineral,and could significantly change the phosphate surface zeta potential.Because of nonionic flocculant F-08 without charge,nonionic flocculant F-08 had no effect on phosphate zeta potential.Single mineral infrared spectrum analysis showed that sodium oleate was easily adsorption on the surface of phosphate single mineral.There were synergies sodium oleate collector and F-08 on phosphate single mineral adsorption.In total,the flocculant F-08 can accelerate the direct flotation of high silicon calcareous phosphate.On the one hand,flocculant F-08 promote oleic acid ions on mineral surface adsorption,on the other hand,F-08 has flocculation for fine-grained phosphate.If it really realizes the selective flocculation flotation on fine grained phosphate needs further research.
