The main composition of compressed natural gas is methane,and it also contains H2 S,H2S which is dissolved in water,water and carbon dioxide.With world economy development rapidly and the population increasing fast in China,these factors all push consumption forward.But the greenhouse gas and the material which is harmful to environment is more than before.So the need of natural gas is increasing gradually.As the supporter of natural gas,the trend of need is soaring.But in the actual transportation for CNG,the tube trailers present a series of defects,however civil research does not meet actual need.Through collecting a plenty of literature and investigation,the the thesis ma inly introducesthe market state,technology state,law,standard and relative situatio n of tube trailer gas cylinder.and it also introduces material,standard,effort,desig n,manufracture,inspection,installing,stress checking.As to typical damage model,it concluded cause,morphology,treatment measure.The conclusion of tube trailer g as cylinder can offer a reference for design,manufracture,inspection,amendm ent.To analyse and research the crack of tube trailer gas cylinder,with the internal and external crack of tube trailer gas cylinder as the object of research,it imitates the stress-strain characteristics different depth crack peak.For the crack of tube trailer gas cylinder,the thesis amended the Paris equation and draw the the process of safety assessment of tube trailer.Besides,it a case to demonstrate the reliability and practicability.The thesis generally concludes typical damage model of tube trailer and analyses the damage mechanism and treatment measures.Besides,it draws the cr uvebetween stress intensity factor and the depth of crack,The critical depth of i nternal and external crack respectively are 5mm and 6.5mm.As for safety asse ssment of gas cylinder,it amends the Paris equation and demonstrates the relia bility and practicability.
