This thesis mainly investigated the aluminum reaction properties of thermobaric explosives by the ways of theoretical calculations,static detonation tests,chemical analysis and numerical simulation.The main research contents are as follows:The cylinder test with diameter 25mm were carried out.Expansion velocity and specific kinetic energy were gained to study the power abilities of thermobaric explosives.The parameters of Jones-Wilkins-Lee(JWL)equation of state were obtained by numerically simulating the cylinder test.Some static explosion experiments were carried out.The parameters of the shock wave in the unconstrained space are obtained.The parameters of secondary reacting rate of JWL-Miller model were determined by adjusting the calculated results according to the test results with an average relative error within ±5%.The completeness of aluminum reaction was studied by programmed calculations.The results show that the smaller the size of aluminum particles in thermobaric explosive,the more complete the reaction,the faster the combustion.The effect of aluminum powder content on the explosion shock wave parameters of thermobaric explosives were studied by the static explosive experiments in confined space.Numerical simulations were accomplished for the process about static detonation of thermobaric explosive in confined space,the results show that shock wave would focus in the center of the tank.The influences of aluminum particles content and size on the explosion capability parameters of thermobaric explosives were investigated by means of theoretical calculations.It shows,with the increase of aluminum content,the detonation velocity and detonation pressure of thermobaric explosive decrease linearly,detonation heat and detonation temperature first increase and then decrease and reaches the max value in 35%.The smaller the particle size of aluminum powder explosive detonation speed to reduce more,while detonation heat with the aluminum powder particle size increases.The mass fraction of active aluminum of various size aluminum particles were determined by TG and oxidation-reduction titration reaction methods.The results showed the smaller the size of aluminum particles,the more active aluminum,the mass fraction of active aluminum of micron aluminum particles is obviously higher than that of nano-aluminum particles.The heat of combustion of thermobaric explosives with various size aluminum particles was measured,the results showed the heat of combustion decreases with the increase of particle size.Mixed with nano-aluminum particles,when the nano-aluminum particles is 15%,the heat of combustion is the highest.
