With increasing of BF volumeandthe technology development of pulverized coal injection under rich oxygen,methods of simple and scientific blend coals,and of precise forecast of thermo-properties for cokes are foreverfocus in the field of caking chemistry.Cokes were caked by 40 Kg oven and 6m oven,ten king coal was used as precursor.Proximateanalysis,total sulfur,caking index(G),plasticlayer(Y),expansion degree(b),etc for ten kind coals were tested according to corresponding to government standard,meanwhile,the CRI and CSR for cokes were also tested.The aim of this work is to build the model to forecast the CRI and CSR of cokes,and to guide blending coals.The results show that napierian logarithm of max Giseeler fluidity is linearly correlate to volatile,which proves napierian logarithm of max Giseeler fluidity can be used to measure the metamorphic grade.Napierian logarithm of max Giseeler fluidity(Ln MF)is linearly correlate to y and b.Effect of the metamorphic grade and caking indexes CRI and CSR reveal the sensitivesequence is LnMF,volatile,G,y.in addition,ash content has evidently effect on the CRI and CSR.CRI and CSR are used as induced variable and indexes of blend coals are used as independent variable.Some regression model are obtained,in which the supremedependency are as followed:CRI =180.547 + 1.451 Vdaf – 23.769 LnMF – 0.132?T-2.879 Ad,R2=97.7%;CSR =69.224 – 2.443 Vdaf + 1.245 Ln MF + 0.1421?T+2.805 Ad,R2=98.2%;CRI and CSR of cokes from 40 Kg and 6m all have linear dependence,and correlation coefficient(R2)reach to 96.64%? 95.05%.These results prove that the optimal regression model can be used to forecast the CRI and CSR of cokes from 6m oven.The optimal multiple regression model have two characteristic of reducing the work of testing coal and the pendenceon man's experience f of measuring coal.
