Corrugated metal hose is common compensating element in chemical piping system,which is mainly used to sustain internal pressure,compensate for the axial displacement,the transverse rupture displacement and the thermal displacement of pipe.In addition,it also has the role of isolation vibration and noise reduction.At the same time metal hose is the weak link in piping system for the strength and sealing problems,so its reasonable design and safe operation is of great significance for the safety production of petrochemical companies.In this paper,ANSYS nonlinear finite element method is used to analyze the static force and thermal stress of double corrugated metal hose with net in the working status.In order to establish the 3D finite element model,the three dimensional quadratic isoperimetric element is applied to build the corrugated pipe model,the beam element is applied to build the net model,and node coupling technique is used to describe interaction between bellows and net.First,stress distribution of the metal hose under the action of axial displacement is obtained and the strengthening function of the net is proved.Second,the stress distribution law of the metal hose under the lateral displacement is obtained and the inner layer corrugated pipe has the "neutral layer" phenomenon.Finally,using the same node heat element,the temperature field is analyzed under high temperature operating condition,with considering the influence of the air layer between the corrugated pipe layers.Through the analysis of thermal deformation and thermal stress,it is found that the bellows without net under high temperature conditions have more uniform distribution of thermal stress and thermal deformation,which is to say that the net has no obvious effect on bellows under high temperature conditions.The results are of reference value to the design,selection and security maintenance of metal hose under various kinds of complex working conditions.
