Nowadays with the rapid development of economy and society,traffic density increases in citise.According to statistics,car ownership in China increased from 1.6×107to 5.1 × 107 in 2008,an increase of nearly 2.2 times.By the end of 2016,car ownership in China reached 2.9×108.The amazing growth rate leads tomore and more serious environmental problems caused by traffic noise.This paper takes Caoqian Road of Linzhang in as an example,the characteristics,source,pollution regular of the noise were analyzed,and the noise was evaluated using equal noise contour map which only according to the objective evaluation factors and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation which both according to the objective evaluation factors and thesubjective evaluation factors.Then the two results were compared and analyzed,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)The largest contribution to the noise ofCaoqian Road werethe large cars,followed by small cars,and the traffic flow and traffic noise correlation of the large cars was highest.The noisetrends over time of every sensitive site were basically the same,and the correlation coefficient of the traffic noise and the noise of the sensitivesites were all high,which mainly due to the sensitive sites are arranged in the first row of houses near the road,the affected of the noise were large causing by the large traffic volume.(2)With the increase of distance,the correlation of the trafficnoise and the noise from monitoring sites decreased gradually,which conform to the propagation pattern.With the increase of the propagation distance,the noise showed a decreasing trend,especially the distance of 40 m.(3)The evaluation results of equal noise contour map showed that the most significant effect from the traffic noise was the first row of houses,which due to the study road is near the village.The effect gradually reduced since the second row away from the road because of the barrier of the first row of stores.(4)Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation showed that the most serious effect site was A7,the influence degree of trend from class III to class IV,which from moderate impact to more severe impact.Fuzzy evaluation of traffic noise on different distance monitoring sites were all belong to the class I tends to class II,which from no effect tomild effect.With the increase of the distance,the effects belonging to the class IV and class V were decreased gradually.(5)Comparison to the two evaluation results of equal noise contour map and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation showed that the two evaluation results has some similarities,which illustrated that the impact of noise on people consistent with the influence of people's subjective feeling,but with subjective evaluation can be more accurate and fully reflect the traffic noise effects degree and scope on the surrounding residents.
