With the world's oil resources tend to inferior,the sulfur content in crude oil is increasing.According to the change of the property of the crude oil,it is very important to carry out the capacity expansion of the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit and sum up of operating experience.In this paper,the engineering research on the capacity expansion and energy conservation of the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit in Jilin Petrochemical Company was carried out.Based on the analysis and comparison of the technology,operating conditions and energy saving effect,the results showed that the processing capacity increased from 3.2 MT/a to 6 MT/a,the yield of light oil reached 47%and the total yield reached 76%after the transformation of unit.The yield of vacuum gas oil was improved obviously,which meet the plant vacuum gas oil balance.The thermal efficiency of the furnace was improved obviously after the unit modification.The thermal efficiency of the atmospheric furnace reached 93.6%and the thermal efficiency of the vacuum furnace was up to 92.5%.The heat exchanger network was optimized and the heat source of the device was more efficient.The final temperature was above 320? under maintaining the condition of the stability of the crude oil and the equilibrium of flow rate.Water,electricity,steam and fuel consumption were lower than before.After the transformation,the unit energy consumption was reduced to 10.95 kg standard oil/ton,which reached the advanced level of similar devices in china.It is favorable to optimize production,when the device treated raw material from Daqing crude oil into Russian crude oil after the transformation.It is not only conducive to centralized processing of sour Russia crude oil,but also give full play to the characteristics of Russian crude oil that has high naphtha yield and aromatics content in naphtha and low pour point diesel.The achievements and experiences of capacity expansion and energy conservation of the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit can be used for reference.
