Scandium with more than 800 kinds of mineral resources is difficult to extract due to too much dispersion.The red mud produced by alkali leaching in bauxite is one of the important scandium sources.At the other hand,the content of scandium in scandium alloy is more than 0.1%.It is indispensable to study the separation and enrichment of scandium from the aluminum scandium mixture.In this paper,castor oil extraction waste?BM?as raw material,The precursors were prepared by four different activation methods,In a nitrogen atmosphere at high temperature carbonization of carbon material ACBM.The BM carbon materials were characterized by thermogravimetric analyzer,Raman spectroscopy,static nitrogen adsorber,infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy.By static and dynamic two kinds of ion adsorption method,discussed identification and Bonding Properties of Sc3+ by Carbon Substrate ACBM.The research contents mainly include the following four parts.LiOH,NaOH,KOH were activated by pretreatment of BM to prepare the precursors to carbonize three carbon materials,Which KOH activation pretreatment BM preparation precursor carbonization of carbon material ACBM-K adsorption to Sc3+ and no adsorption of Al3+,conforms to the recognition of Sc3+,Carbonate Na2CO3,NaHCO3,?NH4?2CO3 were activated by pretreatment of BM prepared by carbonization of the three carbon materials to Al3+,Sc3+ adsorption performance are different.In order to improve the identification of Sc3+ by ACBM-K.Researched KOH activation pretreatment BM process to increase the mechanical stirring effect of the preparation of precursors,preparation of carbon material ACBM-KJ by high temperature carbonization.The results show that the adsorption capacity of ACBM-KJ on Sc3+ was obviously enhanced,and the adsorption capacity was 17.75 mg·g-1,the adsorption performance of Al3+ is slightly changed,and the adsorption capacity was 2.10 mg·g-1.Researched the precursors were prepared during KOH activation pretreatment BMadd the organic solvent with swelling,crosslinking and protection,preparation of carbon materials by high temperature carbonization.The results showed thatthe precursor was prepared by adding liquid paraffin to the KOH activation pretreatment process,preparation of carbon material ACBM-SL by high temperature tarbonization.The adsorption of Sc3+ by ACBM-SL was obviously enhancedand the adsorption capacity was 16.90 mg·g-1,the adsorption performance of Al3+ is slightly changedand the adsorption capacity was 1.95 mg·g-1.Study on the preparation of precursors by KOH and mechanical agitation at the same time activation pretreatment BM.Carbon material ACBM-KJ prepared by high temperature carbonization,Identification and Bonding Properties of Al3+,Sc3+ by Carbon Material ACBM – KJ.The results show that during the preparation of ACBM-KJ,when the BM: KOH ratio is 2: 1 and the carbonization temperature is 600?,The carbonized ACBM-KJ-600 has good adsorption to Sc3+and the adsorption capacity is 22.40 mg·g-1,and it has good reproducibility and reusability.In addition,the carbon material ACBM-KJ-600 has a unique selectivity for Sc3+.In the Sc3+/Al3+ binary ion mixed solution,the selectivity coefficient of adsorbed Sc3+ for ACBM-KJ-600 was 21.23.Study on t he preparation of precursors by KOH and Liquid Paraffin Simultaneous Activation Pretreatment.Carbon material ACBM-SL prepared by high temperature carbonization,Identification and Bonding Properties of Al3+,Sc3+ by Carbon Material ACBM-SL.The results show that during the preparation of ACBM-SL,when the BM: KOH ratio is 2: 1 and the carbonization temperature is 600 ?,The carbonized ACBM-SL-600 has good adsorption to Sc3+and the adsorption capacity is 32.00 mg·g-1,and it has good reproducibility and reusability.In addition,the carbon material ACBM-SL-600 has a unique selectivity for Sc3+.In the Sc3+/Al3+ binary ion mixed solution,the selectivity coefficient of adsorbed Sc3+ for ACBM-SL-600 was 62.74.The industrial simulated dynamic adsorption experiments of ACBM-KJ-600 and ACBM-SL-600 showed that: Carbon material ACBM-KJ-600,ACBM-SL-600 at 52 BV,62BV adsorption up t o saturation;With 2 mol·L-1 hydrochloric acid solution as eluent at 5BV,10 BV when the resolution of up to 99%.
