Solvent extraction was used as an important method to gain castor oil for most enterprises now because it has an advantage of high extraction efficiency,low equipment requirements,automation,continuous production.China enterprises use 6 solvent to extract the castor oil,whose main component is n-hexane.The n-hexane is low extraction efficiency for castor oil,explosive,toxic and pollutes the air,so looking for a new solvent that is high extraction efficiency for castor oil,safe,environment-friendly to replace the 6 solvent is particularly urgent.Castor seed contain four kinds of toxins,the toxins is different and have huge toxicity,resulting in a big difficulty of toxins removal.Detoxification technology now exists disadvantage of high equipment requirements,harsh industrial conditions and high industry costs or bad detoxification effect,which making castor meal is mainly used as an agricultural fertilizer resulting in low additional value of castor meal.In order to improve the castor oil preparation technology and castor meal detoxification technology and improve the overall economic benefits of castor seed processing,in this paper,a technology of solvent extraction of castor oil synchronous castor meal detoxification was established,the main results and conclusions are as follows.In this paper,methanol,95%ethanol,acetone,isopropyl alcohol were used to' do extraction experiments of castor oil,comparison with n-hexane.The results show that:during the five kinds of solvent,the crude protein content and NSI of castor meal that extracted by 95%ethanol is the highest,the quality of castor oil extracted by 95%ethanol is good,the extraction rate of castor oil can reach 89.55%,so choosing 95%ethanol as the extraction solvent of castor oil.Useing 85%,65%,45%,25%ethanol to extract castor meal,respectively.The results showed that:ethanol whose concentration greater than or equal to 65%can extract castor oil and remove ricinine,ethanol whose concentration less than or equal to 45%can remove allergen and ricinine.The extraction conditions of using 95%ethanol to extract castor oil were optimized.The optimal conditions that use 95%ethanol to extract castor oil is:microwave denaturation time is 1 min,extraction time is 1 hour,ratio of sample to solution is 1:8 g/mL,extraction time is 3.Under optimal conditions,the extraction rate of castor oil is 99.98%,residual oil rate of castor meal is 0.07%,residual ricinine of castor meal is 0.0188%.Different factors affecting that 25%ethanol removes allergen and ricinine of castor meal were studied.The proper conditions that 25%ethanol removes allergen and ricinine of castor meal are:extraction time is 3 hour,extraction temperature is 80?,ratio of sample to solution is 1:12 g/mL,extraction times is 3.Under proper conditions,removal rate of ricinine is 98.43%,remove rate of allergen is 98.64%.
