| Hong Kong,as an international metropolitan city,has incomparable features to other areas.Its inclusiveness makes it form a unique Hong Kong culture in its development.Basing on the attitude to inherit and carry forward the essence of local cultural,the Hong Kong culture took in some excellent elements of overseas culture to develop its own cultural consciousness.As a successful model of cultural integration,it is applied to design the clothing products by some local fashion designers which resulting in a Hong Kong culture in its development.However,with the change of the world pattern,many factors such as the development of the internet,economy and trade,society and politics create mutual communication and influence among the various cultures,leading to the phenomenon of flourishing cultural at the communication around the world and shifting of various culture form and art design style.Hong Kong fashion style has experienced the process of formation,development and decline.This thesis is composed of seven sections.The first chapter is to determine the research subject for this thesis which is how Hong Kong culture reflects in Hong Kong fashion style.In this section,it will introduce the concept of Hong Kong culture.The second part is to discuss how the Hong Kong fashion style form according to the factors of geography,trade,economy,education,etc.Section three will take some examples to explain the Hong Kong local people’s opinion on retaining and agreeing to the Hong Kong culture and the cultural consciousness of fashion designers.Based on the chapters above,chapter four will put forward a fact that the Hong Kong fashion style has an effect on the development of China clothing design in a certain time period.However,its development is so unsatisfied that this thesis will try to discuss the reasons why it decayed in recent years.The fifth section will find out the meaning of developing our country’s clothing design from the formation factors of Hong Kong fashion style.Besides,it shows the cultural consciousness of designers will be a role model for its further developing.Section six is base on the characteristics of Hong Kong local culture and the elements of overseas culture to put forward a designing scheme presenting the fusion of different cultures will make a new face of the area of clothing design and it will be one of the sustainable development path.Finally,through the fashion design activities,the last section summarizes how the Hong Kong culture form the Hong Kong fashion style,which reflects the Hong Kong fashion designers on the identity of local culture and the protection of local culture,making them focus on inherit and carry forward for the excellent part of the local culture.Combining its own with overseas cultural elements into fashion design products gives the unique cultural connotation of product.Mixing up the popular elements of local culture with western cultural fashion trends information of the cultural integration for a design way will be one of the sustainable development road for our future fashion design.At the same time,to the decline and the further development of Hong Kong fashion design it is also a reference example that reminds our country’s fashion designers not to blindly pursuit the international fashion trends on design,letting it be overall westernization and abandoning its own culture. |
