In recent years,mid-infrared laser has been widely used in military,communications,medicine,environmental science,making it a research hot spot in the field of light-emitting,such as remote sensing technology,medical,communications and other fields of application.Therefore,rare earth doping medium infrared glass materials has been paid much attention.Fluorozirconate glass have the advantages of relatively low phonon energy,wide optical window?0.3-7 ?m?,low reflectivity,low dispersion,easy processing and manufacturing,become an important medium-infrared gain medium matrix.It is a waveguide material suitable for the infrared,which can be used in a wide range of applications such as fiber lasers,up conversion lasers and fiber amplifiers.The Er3+ ion doped fluorinatedalumina glasses with different compositions were prepared and the temperature dependent emission spectra of the glass were measured.According to the J-O theory,the spontaneous emission probability?Aed?,the fluorescence branching ratio???,the radiation lifetime???and the optical parameter ?t?t = 2,4,6?are calculated.The spectral strength,the emission peak position and the FWHM,changes in different temperature?80-300 K?were studied.We study photoluminescence properties of Er3+ ions doped fluorozirconate glass.That significantly enhanced the fluorescence by introduction of Cl-ions.It is shows that Cl-ions increases the covalency of the coordination bonds and reduces the local symmetry.It can be seen from MIR spectra that increase the Cl-ions the luminescence intensity is gradually enhanced.In addition,we found that the glass gradually ceramicized with the Cl-ion increasing.The fluorescence intensity of the glass is enhanced in the ceramicization process.In the Nd3+ ion doped fluorochlorozirconate glass,XRD shows the structureof amorphous in glass.Cl-ions are substituted for F-ions in glass and therefore do not change the network structure of the fluorozirconate.With the increase of Cl-ion concentration,the near-infrared fluorescence intensity is weakened.However,the mid-infrared fluorescence intensity is obviously improved.In addition,we found that the emission of Nd3+?3.9 ?m?is attribute to two-photon absorption.
