With the growing crisis of global energy strategy,countrys have greater demands on energy saving.The petrochemical industry is energy-hungry and its heat transfer efficiency directly affects the energy saving effect,SHE has many advantages,if the petrochemical industry can apply it,it will contribute to energy saving.Previous research on the spiral heat exchanger focuses on low viscosity,however,high viscosityfluid is now commonly used in petrochemical industry.Therefore,the research of high viscosity medium in SHE is very important.This paper established the overall modle of spiral heat exchanger basing on the working principle and flow characteristics of the spiral heat exchanger.This paper uses the Fluent software to study the whole spiral heat exchanger through three kinds of fluid(lubricating oil,vacuum residue,the heat conduction oil),and to simulate the temperature distribution,and to calculated the pressure distribution.This pape analyse the influence of the parameters of the spiral plate heat exchanger on internal flow resistance and heat transfer performance.This paper focuses on structural parameters:spacing column arrangement and process parameters:velocity of medium,medium viscosity which effecting the performance of exchanger to study.Study find:improving the high viscous fluid flow can get a very good side effect of heat transfer enhancement,choosing the best adapted to high viscous fluid flow plate spacing,and arranging axially short diagonal of diamond composed by four fixed distance column,density of fixed pitch column setting at 200-300/m~2 can enhance the performance of high viscosity fluid spiral heat exchanger.Spiral heat exchanger pressure capability is a key factor affecting their promotion,the spiral plate is the main pressure parts,through stress analysis of the structural strength of the spiral plate,simplified mechanical model,using finite element analysis software analysis limit load.Analysing the spiral plate failure mechanism,the study finds that the destroy parts mainly occurs in connection area of fixed distance column and spiral plate.The most dangerous section of the spiral plate is the outermost spiral plate,and design calculations should base on the outermost spiral plate.Limit load of the spiral plate structure and the thickness of the spiral plate is proportional to the square of the relationship.Iin the actual production,we should select high strength steel to increase the bearing capacity of the spiral plate.These simulation results on spiral plate heat exchanger will help enhance the spread in petrochemical industry,and have more important reference value and significance for design heat exchanger and debugging operating parameters.
