The carbon fiber is an important reinforcing material owing to many excellent performances, such as the high specific modulus, thermal resistance, anticorrosion, anticreep,However, the surface of untreated carbon fiber is smooth, inert, and the poor adhesion of resin, this restricted its wider application. In order to improve the situation, carbon fibers surface was modified by graft modification and assembled modification. Before graft modification, carbon fiber requires alkaline pretreatment, this can form polar groups onthe surface which can increase their invasive and polar media.Surface modification can improving compatibility between carbon fiber and matrix materials,on the premise of that it does not damage the internal structure.Thereby,it achieve good effect which do not damage carbon fiber itself and increase the strength of interface. The tribological performances of carbon fiber reinforced PTFE,PEEK composites under dry condition were investigated, the effect of acid and alkaline conditions on the wear and friction properties of CF/PTFE composites and various modifying agent content on the tribological performances of CF/PEEK composites were studied. The main research contents of this work are summarized as follow:?1?Carbon fiber was modified by fluorine surfactant?F1,F2?,coupling agent?KH-560,NDZ-101?,diisocyanate?TDI?and self-assembled molecular?P?.Result indicated that the heat stability of composite material improve,CF?PMMA?/PTFE composites get higher thermal decomposition temperature, which higher 0.7? than CF?unmodified?/PTFE.?2?The effect of the different graft modification on tribology properties of PTFE composites were studied,it showed that modified carbon fiber contributed to improve the tribological and corrosion properties of PTFE composite. The lowest friction coefficient and wear volume loss were get by CF?F1?/PTFE composites, which is lower 24%than CF?not modification?/PTFE composites.?3?The effect of modified methods on wear and friction performance of PEEK composites were investigated.Result showed that under the higher loads?150N,200N?,CF?P?content is 10%,get the lowest friction coefficient and wear rate.
