Study On The Ethylene Glycol Recycling System Of Almond ?-? Station Shallow Cold Equipment

Because it is too cold in winter and the pressure varies during the transportation of the field gas,water in the gas which is saturated at room temperature and pressure will condensate.The condensation causes pipeline frozen and clogged,also make the pressure drop.however,condensation and evacuation of C3+ heavy elements in the gas causes the wasting of these elements.Shallow cold of Daqing Oilfield Natural Gas Sub-company is part of the engineering for ethylene.It aims at the dehydration of the gas and the recycling of the heavy elements which can be the material for ethylene plant,also it can boost the pressure during the transportation of field gas.At-25 ? and 1.6MPa,water and some hydrocarbon in the gas will condensate,So we need ethylene glycol as the antifreeze to avoid icing.The ethylene glycol recycling plant is one of the bigger and crucial plant in Shallow cold.Its work can affect the output and the quality of the gas which will be transported.If it cannot work well,ethylene glycol cannot recycle well,the transportation of gas will get frozen and clogged,the pressure will drop,refrigeration system cannot run regularly,ethylene glycol will be wasted,the device will be easy to breakdown,and it will cause low production.So,It is very important to inject hot ethylene glycol well before water condensates in the gas.Based on the practical experience from facility operation and technical renovation of Almond V-I Station Shallow cold Equipment of Daqing Oilfield Natural Gas Sub-company in the last 30 years,we analyze the design and operation of the ethylene glycol recycling system.And on the basis of the analysis,we study the principle of the ethylene glycol recycling system,summarize the malfunction of the system according to the actual production,analyze the problem which condition the production,and optimize the design.Besides,according to many years of our experience in the operation,we make a brief analysis of problems which are neglected by operators easily,and come up with the technical solution suited for the production and management of the plant.
