As a kind of important metallic powder material, Carbonyl nickel powder has been widely used in the field of battery, national defense, aeros Pace, military, chemical industry, atomic energy, electronic communications, powder metallurgy, ultra filter, catalyst, stealth materials and high performance magnetic materials etc..In recent years, with the rapid development of technology and material of powder metallurgy, the products in the market are required to have more excellent technical performance on such as Particle size, loose density, the structure of the crystal shape, etc.. But in the process of industrial production, it is difficult to get the single homogeneous powder with the shape of dendritic or stabbing spherical, generally gets some mixed powder with Particle size and loose density in a wide distribution that cannot meet the needs of the specific industry users.In this Paper, the industrial production of carbonyl nickel powder was se Parately conducted in three batches with application of the rotating airflow dynamic classification technology, the elbow jet and the improved elbow jet classification technology, By adjusting the control Parameters of these equipments, detecting and analyzing the Particle size and morphology of the samples under different conditions, and to study the influence on the classification effect. The results of these classification experiments show that:(1)The DXF-10 classifier using rotating airflow dynamic classification technology can classify nickel powder according to the Particle size as requested; By adjusting the diameter of center hole, external adjustable ring, internal adjustable ring, second static pressures, it can change the grading effect; The repeatability of sizing effect is good; This classifier has Partial destruction to the morphology of the carbonyl nickel powder; One classification gets only two products, in order to obtain three level of granularity, a single system is need to configure multiple classifiers.(2)The Elbow Jet-15 classifier using elbow jet classification techniques can classify nickel powder in accordance with the requirements of the Particle size; By adjusting the gas supply pressure, the position of F or M grade knife can change the classification results. The repeatability of classification results is ideal; This classifier has less damage to the morphology of the carbonyl nickel powder; One classification can obtain three kinds of products.(3) The BD-3-05 classifier using improved elbow jet classification techniques also can classify nickel powder according to the Particle size of nickel powder; By adjusting the gas supply pressure, the position of F or M grade knife can change the classification results. The repeatability of classification results is more ideal; This classifier has less damage to the morphology of the carbonyl nickel powder; One classification can obtain three kinds of products; The system configuration is simple, and it is easy to replace the key Parts.The results of this Paper has important practical application value which provide a reliable technical reference for large-scale industrialized classification of carbonyl nickel powder production.
