Synthesis Of Film-forming Polymer (NTO/AA/MMA/TBEM/HM) And Performance Research

In this paper,the film-forming copolymer was synthesized by five monomers using free radical-initated polymerization.The five monomers included the N-tert-octyl acryl amide,acrylic acid,methyl methacrylate,aminoethyl methacrylate,hydroxypropyl meth acrylate,using water-alcohol solution as a solvent,ammonium sulphate as initiator.Free radical-initiated polymerization of synthetic stereotypical film-forming polymer.One of the monomers that used as the monomer to synthesized the.film-forming polymer was the N-tert-octylacrylamide which was prepared according to Ritter,using glacial acetic acid as solvent,with acrylonitrile,diisobutylene and water as reactants,98%sulfuric acid as the catalyst.In this art,the factors had been studied that influence the yield and purity of N-tert-octylacrylamide,especially the reaction temperature and reaction time.The optimal reaction temperature was 35? and the optimum reaction time was 4h.By using IR spectra to character the structure of the N-tert-octyl acrylamide,by melting point test and the gas chromatogram had been used to test the purity of the N-tert-octyl acrylamide.Using ammonium persulfate as the initiator,a water-alcohol solution as the solvent,the reaction temperature was about 82?,the reaction time was about 6h.Using Phase transfer method for post-processing of the film-forming polymer.In this technique,the different post-processing way had been studied that influence on the performance of the film-forming polymer,the monomer ratio that influence the performance of film-forming polymer.The structure of the synthetic film-forming polymer was characterized by infrared spectroscopy,the molecular weight of the film-forming copolymer was measured by the gel chromato-graphy,by using the Thermal gravietric analysis determination the thermal decomposition temperature of the film-forming polymer,by using Ubbelohde viscomter to character the viscosity of the film forming polymer,using hot ethanol method to test the acid value of the film-forming polymer.Study the relationship between the film structure and the film-forming polymer component of the film-forming properties of the polymer,providing a basis theory for fixing film-forming polymer.
