In the process of lapping precision ball,lapping trace online testing has the great significance.By online tests lapping trace,researchers can learn the wraping character of lapping trace is good or not,which can provide an important basis for the parameter optimization of lapping process.In this paper,from lapping trace online testing,hardware platform and software program of the trace measurement system were designed based on gyroscope can output the angular velocity,achieved lapping trace online testing.This paper mainly and achievement are as follows:1.In the hardware design,completed the design of gyro signal acquisition circuit,wireless communication module circuit and data storage module circuit.2.In the software design,completed the design of signal acquisition program,wireless transmission module receive data and transmit data program,data storage program and PC real-time communication with the trackball program.3.Did some tests according to some index of trace mesurement system,analysed tests results,established mathematical model,carried on error compensation.By the experiment of lapping trackball online testing.The result shows that the trace measurement system can realize lapping trace online testing,it can provide a basis for high precision ball effective lapping.
